Don't Tap That Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
Short version: Don't Tap That collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no trackers. Everything the game remembers stays on your device.
Who we are
Don't Tap That is published by Hall Software Solutions. You can reach us at support@hallsoftwaresolutions.com.
Information we collect
We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. The app has no user accounts, no login, and no backend that receives your data.
Information stored on your device
To make the game work, the app stores the following locally on your device only (using local storage). This data never leaves your phone and is not accessible to us or anyone else:
- Your best score.
- An optional nickname you choose to label your score.
- Per-challenge play statistics used by the on-device adaptive difficulty engine.
- Game settings and preferences.
Deleting the app, or clearing site data in your browser, removes this data.
Analytics and tracking
None. We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, cookies, or any form of cross-app or cross-site tracking. Apple may share aggregated, opt-in crash and usage statistics with us through App Store Connect; this is controlled by your device's "Share with App Developers" setting and does not identify you.
Sharing
The "Challenge a friend" feature uses your device's native share sheet. If you choose to share, the message is sent by you, through the app you pick (Messages, Mail, etc.). We never see or store what you share or who you share it with.
Children's privacy
The app is safe for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
